The Faure Archive is the home for the family’s stories, photographs and records. These four introductions offer a way into that history.
A date, a document and a family recollection tell us different things. As the Archive develops, we will preserve those distinctions and leave room for corrections and further research.
The past gives the wine house meaning. Caring for the Archive is also a purpose in its own right.
A note on the history
The family history reaches back centuries; the modern brand began in 2018. Rachel’s land purchase in 1750 is recorded in the family compilation. Vines and winemaking at that point are an inference.
